Unlock a cell phone
Most cell phone service provider will not tell you how to unlock
your cell phone. You needs to know the right trick in order to accomplish
this difficult task. Here is a example provided by one of our customers:
Service Provider: Cingular
Phone Model:
Nokia 3390
1. Email a special department and request for unlock code.
Regular customer service person are not helpful. The email address is
simunlockcode@cingular.com
2. You need to provide them the IMEI number as well as
your phone model. Better provide them all the numbers listed on the back
of your cell phone.
Here is the process for
entering in the unlock code for your phone: IMEI
First we give you warning before starting process. You have 5 tries to enter
this code into your phone. If you go beyond the 5 tries your phone will not be
able to be unlocked.
If you get code error twice I do suggest you call Cingular before going any
further.

Press the # key once
2.
Press the * three times to
show a P
3.
Press the * key four times
to show a W
4.
Press the * key Twice to
show a +
5.
Enter code ********** (the
code that you obtained from Cingular)
6.
Press the * key Twice to
show a +
7.
Press the 1
8.
Press the # key once
Your phone is
now unlocked
